Emily Greengard, MD
Dr. Greengard is the Fellowship Program Director and faculty member of the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology and an Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Greengard cares for children with neuroblastoma, osteosarcoma, sarcomas and solid tumors. As a pediatric oncologist, Emily Greengard, MD is dedicated to finding novel, more effective and less toxic therapies for children with solid tumors, working closely with basic scientists at the University of Minnesota to move therapies from the lab to the patient. Dr. Greengard was previously involved in the laboratory development of novel agents to treat solid tumors and subsequently transitioned to clinical investigation and early phase clinical trials for novel agents. She has served as the national chair for two Children’s Oncology Group (COG) Phase I clinical trials, one of which she developed in collaboration with Dr. Branden Moriarity, translating his groundbreaking laboratory discoveries into a first in child trial for children, adolescents and young adults with relapsed osteosarcoma. She has been named a “Top Doctor” by Minnesota Monthly Magazine and Mpls. St. Paul Magazine.
